02 / The story
Mehdi is a tech leader and senior software engineer whose work spans software architecture, cloud platforms on Azure and AWS, and DevOps engineering. He has spent twenty years inside production systems — designing them, debugging them, and learning what makes them last.
Along the way he organized six comprehensive software engineering courses, teaching everything from fundamentals to distributed systems design. His teaching philosophy is simple: people learn best in warm, supportive environments where questions are welcomed, mistakes are data, and nobody gets left behind.
That same philosophy runs through his leadership — from mentoring junior engineers at Toyota Material Handling to coordinating 18+ developers across 7 countries as a CTO. dotnet-talk is the continuation of all of it: building serious systems and sharing everything learned along the way.

Led a Domain-Driven Design refactoring of the entire system, facilitated cross-team communication, and drove technology and architectural decisions.

Led an agile team building an integration platform between Toyota's Order Manager (T-One) and customer warehouse-management systems — a suite of microservices on a custom modular framework inspired by Unity 3D, enforcing customer-specific rules across diverse WMS environments. Mentored four junior engineers, handled business analysis, and regularly stepped in as Scrum Master.

Architected a .NET management system automating the full workflow of television program production — from idea through planning, filming, editing, and broadcasting — coordinating 10+ roles per program and integrating with broadcasting software, archives, and legacy platforms. Web and desktop clients; thanks to deep unit and GUI test coverage, only two minor bugs were reported in two years of live production.
